When you look at the music lineup over the past 22 years of the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, you can’t help but be impressed. The names of legends punctuate each year, each with a story to go along with it that any local will happily entertain you with. Take a closer look at that list and you’ll notice that some of these famous performers were live on the WSSF stage BEFORE they hit it big. Others have come and gone from the spotlight throughout the years, but remain musical big-wigs that would make any festival goer supremely excited to see live them on stage.

Case in point, Busta Rhymes. He’s a big deal, and he’s headlining the 2017 FIDO Outdoor Concert Series. Are people excited? You bet your ass they are.

Need a little more intel on Busta? Let me throw this bio your way. He was born Trevor George Smith Jr. but was dubbed Busta Rhymes by Chuck D from Public Enemy. He’s been deemed one the top MCs, lyricists and rappers in the world. Some might argue he is one of the best rappers of the 1990s, and not only is he known for his quick, intricate rhyming technique and internal use of rhyme and half rhyme, he is also known for his unusual style and innovative creative endeavors.

With 11 Grammy nominations and 9 studio albums under his belt, Busta Rhymes is a musical heavyweight that you won’t want to miss. He’s hitting the WSSF stage on Saturday, April 15th. Did we mention it’s FREE? See you there.
