Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme Presented by KokaneeTickets: FREE (lift pass required)
Time: The first competitor will drop into the Saudan Couloir at 11:00am on Saturday, April 14. Please note that this is weather dependent and the race time and date are subject to change.
Location: The Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme course runs from the top of the Saudan Couloir on Blackcomb Mountain and finishes at Glacier Creek Lodge. The Kokanee Couloir Extreme spectator zone with by-the-minute race information will be open outside the Rendezvous Lodge on an extended patio, complete with a great view of the race course, BBQ and bar. The Kokanee Couloir Extreme spectator zone can be reached on skis or snowboard, and sightseers on foot can reach the spectator zone by purchasing a sightseeing lift ticket and travelling up the Whistler Village Gondola and over to Blackcomb via the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.
Details: The stuff of legend and lore. The 16th edition of the world’s steepest ski race, the Saudan Couloir Ski Race Extreme, is coming to WSSF 2018 after a more than 15 year hiatus. The race, which started back in 1987, is set to be a festival highlight in 2018, bringing out the legends of ski racing, big mountain pros, and a healthy dose of amateur skiers who aren’t afraid to charge.
Monster Energy Boarderstyle World ChampionshipsTickets: FREE (lift pass required)
Time: 12pm - 1pm: TRAINING and 1:30pm: FINALS
Location: Monster Boarderstyle is held at the Terrain Park Snowcross course located on Blackcomb Mountain. Weaving through the trees beneath the Solar Coaster Chairlift, the start of this competition can be accessed off of Springboard run with the finish line at the bottom of the Terrain Park Half Pipe. Monster Boarderstyle can only be accessed via skis or snowboard and requires a lift ticket. The course cannot be accessed on foot.
Details:Entering its 8th year, Monster Energy Boarderstyle has gone from being an experimental event to a legitimate tour poised to make its greatest impression to date. With four event stops and $50,000 in prize money, the one-of-a-kind snowboard contest conceptualized by Monster Energy Canada is charging through British Columbia. Watching the chaos or competing in it is only half the fun. Monster Energy won’t just show up, they’ll bring the party. Each Boarderstyle stop guarantees a legendary after party. Location: The Big Air competitions take place at the base of Whistler Mountain with free spectator viewing from Skier's Plaza in Whistler Village.
Details: The World Ski and Snowboard Festival stages one of the world’s best Big Air competitions, drawing top athletes and passionate crowds in droves. The event attracts more than 18,000 spectators who witness some of the best riders in the world showcasing exactly what progression looks like as they launch off a massive jump at the base of Whistler Mountain. Watch the athletes lay it all on the line at the last Big Air competition of the year.

Location: Music performances will be located adjacent to the finish area of the Big Air course at the base of Whistler Mountain in Skier's Plaza.
Details: From the success of “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince” with partner Will Smith, to the critical acclaim of his production company “A Touch of Jazz”, Jeff proved time and time again that he would always be a force to be reckoned with. And he continues to represent with his solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live shows. His love of music shines through in everything he does.

Details: The final stop of the Mountain Magic Tour is blowing in perfect conditions for an all-night dance fest with an incredible line-up including female DJ and electronic music producer Mija, UK's DJ Sinden and DJ Craze. Rolling in with them is the fun-loving Mountain Magic Tour crew of Smalltown DJs, Christian Martin, Mat the Alien, Ardalan, and a Case of the Mondays. Inspired by the great Western Canadian electronic music festivals such as Bass Coast and Shambhala, this year The END will feature massive PK sound and lighting production, dancers, and art installations. Keep your eyes peeled for the ‘Wizards' who will keep the party storm index on high.
