Intersection is an event that pushes crews of artistic snow sports visionaries to their limits as they aim to create a masterpiece that truly captures the beauty of ski and snowboard culture. New for 2023, Intersection has invited 5 crews to participate. They have 12 days to shoot, edit, and submit a 4-6 minute winter action sports edit all filmed within BC. These films will be shown on April 13th and judged by a panel of industry experts as well as the audience.

Chris Rasman
Chris Rasman is a local professional snowboarder who quickly rose from hometown hero, to a well respected name on the international snowboard scene. With over a decade of backcountry video parts under his belt, magazine covers, pro model gear, and impressive results at the Natural Selection tour, Chris has the resume to back up his position as a judge in the Intersection film contest.
Jeff Schmuck
Jeff Schmuck is the Editor of Forecast Ski Magazine, Canada’s premiere ski publication, and is a distinguished media figure and historian in the sport of freeskiing. Originally from Rossland, British Columbia but now based down the road in Vancouver, Jeff has been working in the ski industry for over 20 years, during which time he’s travelled the world to cover countless film and photo shoots along with nearly every major freeskiing event on the planet, and has additionally served as the Head Judge of the iF3 Film Festival for the last 10 years.
