Pro Photo Showcase

Over the last 30 years, WSSF has hosted the Pro Photographer Showdown, welcoming professional action sports photographers from around the world to showcase their best work in a slideshow. This year, we celebrate the legacy of the Pro Photographer Showdown and the photographers who have shaped it over the years with the Pro Photographer Showcase.

This printed gallery will be free to view in the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Center during WSSF, and you can take home these images while supporting a great cause.

Protect Our Winters Canada is running an online silent auction with all images in the gallery. Bid on your favourite image to take it home, with 100% of proceeds going directly to POW.

AUCTION

Mini Ramp

We’re bringing skateboarding back to WSSF in the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Center. Ramptime Productions is bringing the ramp, measuring 4′ tall x 16′ wide x 26’ long and surfaced with Skatelite. The ramp will be free and accessible to anyone who wants to skate, with a schedule below to allow space for everyone to ride.

18 and under must wear helmets – we will have free rental helmets available on-site.
All participants must sign a liability waiver

10 am – 11 am: Indigenous session
11 am – 12 pm: Grom session
12 pm – 2 pm: Open skate
2 pm – 3 pm: Girls session
3 pm – 5 pm: Open skate
6 pm – 7 pm: Invite-only session

BASE CAMP AT NIGHT

Basecamp wraps at 5pm before reopening at 6pm, when doors open for the multimedia events. The space shifts into an evening atmosphere with an invite-only Pro Ramp Session, brand activations and giveaways, Pro Photographer Showcase, plus drink features from beverage partners including Jägermeister, Red Bull, The Strait & Narrow, Cinco Drink Co., and Athletic Brewing.
