Zada

APRIL 9th 3:00PM @ Skiers Plaza

 In a world where everything is increasingly virtual, ZADA is tethered to nature. Ethiopia-born and Canada-based, the 22-year-old was raised in the snowy mountains of Whistler, British Columbia. This natural environment informs ZADA’s singular musical voice, a fresh blend of neo-soul and R&B with generous doses of Afrobeat and folk, propelled by organic grooves and breezy melodies.

Surf Hat

APRIL 9th 4:00PM @ Skiers Plaza

Surf Hat is a psychsurf duo from the mountains of Squamish, BC, known for their electric live performances, catchy hooks, and reverbsoaked guitars. Their selftitled debut album has amassed millions of streams, building a loyal fanbase across North America and beyond. Drawing inspiration from classic pop, surf, and psychedelia, they craft a sound that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own. Fresh off an Australian tour, Surf Hat brings that highenergy live show to WSSF.

The Funk Hunters

APRIL 10th 3:00PM @ Skiers Plaza

Canadian DJ duo The Funk Hunters – Nick Middleton and Duncan Smith – have spent nearly two decades electrifying dancefloors worldwide with their dynamic, multisensory live shows. Performing on four decks and two mixers, their funk-infused sets blend house, bass, midtempo, and drum & bass. With over 50 million streams, their catalogue spans originals, collaborations, and remixes alongside chart-topping production work and major festival performances worldwide.

Vandelux (DJ Set)

APRIL 10th 4:20PM @ Skiers Plaza

Vandelux spins a kaleidoscope of emotions into sound, refracting happiness, sadness, confusion, and clarity through pulsating beats, glistening keys, and iridescent melodies. The Vancouver-born producer and DJ, a.k.a. Evan White, uses music to translate feeling into movement, blending electronic textures with soulful energy on the dancefloor. With hundreds of millions of streams and sold-out shows worldwide, his sound continues to resonate with audiences across festivals and clubs, anchored by releases including his full-length album Closer [Mom + Pop Music].

Maestro Fresh Wes

APRIL 11th 3:00PM @ Skiers Plaza

Maestro Fresh Wes (Wes Williams) is a pioneering figure in Canadian music history, widely recognized as the Godfather of Canadian Hip-Hop. His 1989 breakthrough single Let Your Backbone Slide and debut album Symphony In Effect helped shape Canadian hip-hop. Since then, the Toronto-born artist has earned gold and platinum status, a JUNO Award for Best Rap Recording, Billboard chart success, and induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. In February, his cultural impact was further recognized when he was honoured with a Canada Post commemorative stamp, celebrating his lasting influence on Canadian music.

Snotty Nose Rez Kids

Snotty Nose Rez Kids, a First Nations hip hop duo of Yung Trybez and Young D. They burst onto the scene in 2017 with back-to-back albums showcasing sharp lyricism and fearless storytelling. Their 2019 breakout TRAPLINE, featuring “Boujee Natives,” earned a JUNO nomination and launched a high-voltage international tour. Followed by albums which received a Polaris Prize Shortlist nod and multiple Western Canadian Music Awards. Now signed to Sony Music, they continue to redefine hip-hop with hard-hitting lyrics, vivid storytelling, and electrifying live shows.

Jah Cutta

Jah Cutta is a Jamaicaborn, Montrealbased reggae and dancehall artist whose career spans more than four decades. Known for his commanding stage presence and uplifting, rootsdriven sound, he blends conscious lyrics with infectious rhythms that carry messages of unity and resilience. Over the years, he has shared the stage with reggae legends including Peter Tosh, The Wailers, and Beenie Man. A true ambassador of reggae culture, Jah Cutta continues to bring timeless energy and authenticity to every performance.

Bedouin Soundclash

APRIL 12th 4:00PM @ Skiers Plaza

Canadian indie rock and reggae mainstays Bedouin Soundclash return to the stage, continuing a genre-defying career that has earned them JUNO Awards, Top 10 radio hits, and international tours. Formed in 2001, the band broke through with the hit single “When the Night Feels My Song,” and has since built a catalogue that blends reggae, rock, and global influences. Nearly two decades into their career, they continue to evolve while delivering the unmistakable sound that made them one of Canada’s most distinctive live acts.
