WSSF 2016 – Intersection Crew Call Out
Friday, January 28, 2016

Intersection is back for its sixth year at WSSF and the time is now to get your name in the running to be one of the chosen crews. There is only room for 8 teams and with a cool $10,000 prize up for grabs, you don’t want to sleep on this one.

The chosen few will be challenged to create a 5-7 minute film within a seven-day time frame. Within the selected seven days, crews will have to shoot, edit and produce a film with a unique creative vision and a whole lot of shredding.

Intersection returns to its roots this year, bringing back the requirement that films must be shot within 100km of Whistler. All submissions must contain 30 seconds of park footage, 30 seconds of in-bound action at Whistler Blackcomb and must include 75% of on snow footage.

This contest always draws out the big guns, so start brain storming now for a chance to get your name on the list of previous winners which includes Voleurz, Leo Zuckerman, The Manboys,  and Legs of Steel. It will all go down on Friday, April 15 when a 1500+ strong audience packs the Whistler Conference Centre to watch the Intersection edits play out on the big screens and witness who will make it as the 2016 Best of Show.

If you’re interested in making WSSF history and want the chance at winning $10,000, email jkerrigan@watermarkinc.ca before February 19th, 2016. Be sure to include samples of previous film projects, crew name & short bio, crew logo and sample list of riders in your submission. Stay tuned for final teams to be officially announced by early March and good luck!
